  • Nivea Regina (formerly Jasmine) I wanted to let you know that the white kitten you adopted to me, called Jasmine at the time, has been an absolute sweetheart. Let me first say that I decided to name her Nivea Regina, which means "Princess Snow-white." She is the most darling thing ever. I actually took Nivea camping with me for two nights at Cades Cove in the Great Smokey Mountains. Nivea loved it. She stayed right with me near the fire and had a great time chasing the silhouettes of the bugs on the outside of the tent. I bought this bicycle trailer called a Houndabout and take them for bike rides on our local greenbelt all the time. Nivea seems to just love it. LOL! She loves little cave-like places, and I keep a makeshift cave of pillows and a blanket and sheet on my sofa for her. I was primarily letting you know all of this to express my thanks to your organization for saving Nivea the day before she was to be put to death and to let you know that she has a wonderful home here and is greatly loved. I think you'll be surprised at how big she's grown. She's a... big cat, though emotionally she's not entirely out of the kitten stage.
